Panda icon used in a Mac application to manage warranties

Panda

One user of the Cute Critters icon set that I created for Tutorial9 was very kind to send this picture of the panda icon integrated in his Warranty Hero software, an application from Nodhead Software. In their press release they state

Warranty Hero allows anyone to quickly and easily keep track of a products life-span and its accompanying warranty guarantee. With a focus on ease-of-use, adding new product information is as simple as entering its name, vendor, purchase dateand a time the warranty expires. Optional information for serial number, price, product image, and receipt can be entered as necessary.

Free icon set: Dreambugs

Dreambugs is a free icon set, or free avatar set or anything you want it to be. It is free and that’s all that matters. The thing is that after doing some gardening this morning and taking a bath, I wanted to draw something that was different creating at the same time visual systems. I started doodling and quickly I had 20 icons, emoticons, monsters. I created some sort of `species´, for instance, the animals, the ape-like robots, those with an A or V shape, etc. Obviously the animals were the easiest, mother nature has a terrific visual system.

I created them using Inkscape, which is an awesome open source vectorial tool and I zipped the SVG format which is compatible across several vectorial drawing softwares like Illustrator, Draw, Xara, Inkscape itself, etc. I’ve also included in the zip a transparent PNG file of the Dreambugs in case you don’t have any vectorial tool available. You can download the free Dreambugs icon set and use them in any way you want.
