The image above was created with the Mixal typeface that I’m giving away for free today. The Mixal font is a lowercase only font and has a heavy body so it’s proper for composing headlines or navigational elements in an interface.
Don’t you hate downloading a small freebie only to find out that either: you can’t use it on commercial projects or you must credit the author with a big banner or something like that? I do, and I bet most of you do. I mean, I can understand crediting something like the Hybrid Theme. It’s huge, it rocks and it’s very well coded. But crediting someone for the ink splat he or she scanned it’s almost crazyness. It’s almost selfish. I’ve never used stuff like that. I mean, give it away. Let it go. Give back. Contribute to the world.
I’ve always delivered the freebies here for free for personal or commercial projects and without crediting. I only ask that you don’t sell it or improperly redistribute it.
So (sorry for the rant), here’s another freebie. Mixal is a lowercase typeface that you can use for those sci-fi or hi-tech projects you have. It’s entirely free for your personal or commercial projects. Mixal was created using the japanese build of FontForge (the interface is in english though), font-forge-mingw.
