9 Awesome Female Illustrators

I’m a big fan of Trenchmaker, a female illustrator also known as Anne Pätzke, and I read today that she had launched her new illustration site. Since it was so gorgeous I made a round up of other sites of some awesome female illustrators that I love and selected these nine sites for your inspiration and visual pleasure. The artwork featured is truly amazing and they have really different styles so I hope you will find it quite inspirational.

Thanks for those cool advertisements. Every girl has a nice style. Little bit too girly, but really nice.

Florian Very nice! thanks. I can see she is also into graphic design.
Florian L. I don’t really think the style is too girly. Check for instance the works of Claudia Cangini, she does great comic strips with a very particular style and not girly at all. Maybe Victoria is the most sweet, I wouldn’t say girly. There are a lot of guys that illustrate with that style, not to mention manga/anime, for example from Visual Art’s/Key.

    Hi there,
I don’t know much about her, but I love her work. I’ve just bought four ink drawings that she completed for a commission for Chilprufe. Lilian Hocknell was a British illustrator, best known for her hugely popular advertising work designing posters. I’ve seen reference to her work in the 1920s and 1930s. Sorry I can’t be of more help but I’m just at the start of the road to finding out about her too! Best wishes,
    Delphine

By the way, being “girly” should not be an insult. It is okay to embrace feminine style and artistry.
